I would say definitely worth it on a 4070. I ran full settings before on a 3070 and was doing what was fine for me, which wasn’t always 60fps but I was ok with that. 4070 is way above so you should be fine considering rest of computer is good with RAM, etc, of which I recommend 32GB of memory.
I agree with you, which is why i wrote 3080. But i would also agree if somebody says the 3070 is a good card for 1440p gaming. (generally speaking, not for highest settings) Because in many cases it is and you can definitely get the 60 fps in every game. 7. gintoddic.
hardware unboxed is a youtuber that benchmarks games and makes optmization guides on these games. but it seems im not the only one. on the mega thread for bugs for the 1.5 patch the top comment is about worse performance with rt, and the btw the card is more than capable playing this game with rt lightning, reflections and shadows is a different take. dlss enabled.
